MakerGhat is seeking a Senior Manager Curriculum to anchor STEM, AI, maker, and experiential programs. You will architect curriculum systems, craft grade-wise pathways, and mentor a curriculum team, aligning with field realities and large-scale deployment.

The role requires deep expertise in experiential pedagogy, teacher development, and systems-level quality design, translating visions into scalable learning journeys for diverse learner groups.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of experience in curriculum leadership, pedagogy, instructional design and teacher education.
  • Strong expertise in STEM / maker education, experiential learning, PBL / inquiry-based pedagogy.
  • Experience leading teams and curriculum systems.
  • Strong writing, structuring, and review skills.
  • Preferred: experience with government schools and AI / robotics exposure.
  • Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Design, STEM Education, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and long-term vision of MakerGhat's curriculum across STEM, AI, and maker education.
  • Build learning progression frameworks across grade bands and learner segments.
  • Define curriculum standards, learning competencies, and pedagogical principles.
  • Ensure coherence across program models and geographies.
  • Serve as pedagogy lead and drive inquiry-based, project-based, and experiential learning.
  • Design teacher guides, facilitation manuals, lesson flows, reflection frameworks, and rubrics.
  • Institutionalize quality review cycles and continuous curriculum improvement.

Job description

The Senior Manager Curriculum will serve as the pedagogical and curriculum anchor for MakerGhat's STEM, AI, maker, and experiential learning programs. This role goes beyond content creation. It requires someone who can architect curriculum systems, build grade-wise learning pathways, define quality standards, and mentor a curriculum team, while ensuring alignment with field realities and large-scale implementation needs.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in experiential pedagogy, curriculum leadership, teacher development, and systems-level quality design, with the ability to translate ambitious program visions into teacher-friendly, scalable learning journeys. This is a senior leadership role that will work closely with Operations, M&E, Training, and Partnerships teams, and contribute to organization-wide decisions on pedagogy and learning design.

MakerGhat is an education non-profit looking for audacious and driven individuals to nurture India's youth to become entrepreneurs and leaders. Our team is composed of education and design experts from Stanford and Georgia Tech, non-profit and industry leaders (such as the ex-CEO of GiveIndia and Pratham), educators, entrepreneurs (Forbes 30 under 30 co-founder), and makers of all ages! We partner closely with government, and leading nonprofit, corporate, and research institutions to implement high quality programs on entrepreneurial thinking and hands-on making in school and college level.

CTC: INR 16-22 Lakhs (flexible based on experience and leadership depth)

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead the design and long-term vision of MakerGhat's curriculum across:
  • STEM programs
  • AI and robotics initiatives
  • teacher training programs
  • fellowship learning journeys
  • Build learning progression frameworks across grade bands and learner segments
  • Define curriculum standards, learning competencies, and pedagogical principles
  • Ensure coherence across multiple program models and geographies
2. Pedagogical Leadership
  • Serve as the organization's pedagogy lead, ensuring all programs are grounded in strong
  • Drive integration of:
  • inquiry-based learning
  • project-based learning
  • experiential learning
  • formative assessment and reflection
  • Define the non-negotiables for high-quality learning experiences
3. Teacher & Facilitator Learning Design
  • Lead the design of:
  • teacher guides
  • facilitation manuals
  • lesson flows
  • reflection frameworks
  • classroom observation rubrics
  • Ensure materials are practical, low-resource, and easy for teachers to implement independently
4. Quality Systems & Feedback Loops
  • Build systems for continuous curriculum improvement
  • Use classroom observations, teacher feedback, and M&E insights to drive revisions
  • Define learning quality metrics and content review frameworks
  • Institutionalize review cycles across programs and states
Qualifications
Must-Have:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in curriculum leadership, pedagogy, instructional design and teacher education
  • Strong expertise in STEM / maker education, experiential learning, PBL / inquiry-based pedagogy
  • Experience leading teams and curriculum systems
