The Corporate Institute in Mumbai is seeking a Sr. Manager – Treasury for a manufacturing client to lead the corporate treasury agenda. The role focuses on liquidity management and strategic funding decisions.

You will plan daily cash flows, oversee borrowings and investments, negotiate with banks, and supervise a two-person treasury team while driving automation and controls across treasury processes. Experience in cash management, working capital, and treasury reporting is essential to align

Formación

• CA, CFA, MBA in Finance or an equivalent qualification.
• 10 to 14 years of relevant corporate treasury experience.
• Hands-on experience in cash and working capital management, investments, borrowings, bank negotiations and treasury reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Plan daily cash flows, monitor receipts and payments, and maintain liquidity across operations.
• Determine short-term borrowing and WCDL requirements while managing funding costs.
• Manage investments in mutual funds and fixed deposits in line with policy, liquidity needs and risk appetite.
• Work with banks and financial institutions on short- and long-term loans; negotiate rates, fees, limits and terms.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting for borrowings, investments, interest and bank charges.
• Prepare daily and monthly treasury MIS covering cash positions, investments, borrowings, interest costs and facility utilisation.
• Assess treasury products and funding alternatives, including inter-company deposits and equity infusion where approved.
• Improve treasury processes through automation, stronger controls and faster turnaround times.
• Guide subsidiary treasury teams on policy alignment, governance, compliance and audit requirements.
• Manage and develop a team of two treasury professionals.
