We are looking for an AP Compliance Manager to manage end-to-end compliance for Authorised Persons (APs) in line with SEBI, Exchange, and internal Stock Broker guidelines. The role will be responsible for AP onboarding, registration, compliance monitoring, audits, regulatory reporting, surveillance, and stakeholder management, ensuring APs remain compliant with applicable regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor AP business activities to ensure compliance with SEBI and Exchange regulations.
  • Ensure APs do not engage in any unregistered or unregulated activities.
  • Review and act on compliance alerts related to APs.
  • Conduct periodic compliance checks and surprise visits to AP offices, wherever required.
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Exchanges for AP registration, approvals, rejections, and clarifications.
  • Ensure AP records and registrations are updated and maintained accurately.
  • Prepare and submit AP-related regulatory reports to the Exchanges.
  • Update AP details and information on relevant Exchange portals.
  • Support internal audits, Exchange inspections, and business/compliance reviews.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct compliance training and provide regulatory updates to APs.
  • Communicate changes in regulations, code of conduct, and Exchange requirements.
  • Address AP queries related to compliance and operational processes.
  • Maintain accurate AP MIS, compliance trackers, and documentation logs.
  • Ensure timely retrieval and availability of AP records for audits and regulatory reviews.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, Exchange regulations, and stock broking compliance frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of AP registration, compliance monitoring, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with NSE/BSE/MCX compliance portals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify alerts, red flags, and compliance gaps.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with APs, internal teams, Exchanges, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in a mid-to-large stock broking firm will be preferred.
