Job summary

Adani seeks an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to oversee CHP package commissioning schedules, rolling plans, and coordination with EPC contractors.

You will verify MIS, ensure safety compliance, review JSA/HIRA, commissioning methodologies, and lead interface resolution across departments. With 15+ years in large power projects, you will demonstrate proven team leadership and hands-on CHP unit experience on 500/600 MW scale.

• Must have extensive CHP commissioning experience on large power projects.
• Proven ability to lead a team of commissioning engineers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CHP package commissioning schedules and quarterly rolling plans.
• Verify weekly/monthly MIS on materials, drawings, processes, and resources.
• Ensure safety compliance at site; review JSA/HIRA and commissioning methodologies.
• Coordinate progress, materials, drawings, and resources with PMCG/CEG & EPC contractor.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality systems and safety.
• Coordinate interface issues within inter- and intra-departments.

Job description

• Shall be responsible for the Monitoring of CHP Packages commissioning schedule and resource Rolling Plan quarterly basis in line with the relevant project commissioning schedule follow up, Commissioning Co-ordination, Check List, and Standard Operating Procedure.
• To verify weekly/monthly MIS (Materials, drawing, process, resources)
• To ensure safety compliance at site. Review of JSA/HIRA, Commissioning Methodology and check list for erection, Compliance check list before taking up commissioning activity.
• To coordinate (Progress, Material, drawing, Resources) with PMCG/CEG & EPC Contactor
• To ensure safety strict adherence to quality systems & Safety.
• To co-ordinates for interface issues within inter & intra department

Qualifications

Experience Total:15+ Years

Must have sound knowledge of systems and practice of Large Power Project. Should have handled a Team of commissioning Engineers in Project. Must have exposure to commissioning of CHP (Wagon Tripler, Stacker/Reclaimer, Crusher House, Belt Conveying System) & in project having Units of more than 500/600 MW Capacity. Should have good communication and presentation skills.
