Job summary

Tataconsumer is seeking an experienced professional for its Sampla plant. The role focuses on Capex planning, budget control, and ensuring production targets while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and statutory standards.

Candidate should bring 8–10 years in FMCG, strong production management skills, and familiarity with SAP. The position emphasizes process innovation, cost control, and stakeholder coordination across units.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ work experience in FMCG Industry.
• Understanding & experience of production & resource planning & production management.
• Knowledge of New Technology (machinery, IoT, 4.0), Food Safety, EHS, Statutory Compliance, Factory Act & Rules, Labor Laws, QC/kaizen/Small Group Activities and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Capex Planning & Execution: assist unit head in capex planning and time-bound execution.
• Plant Budget: assist unit head on bill verification of co-packer and ensure financial control.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained while achieving production volume as per the indent.
• Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements, GMP/GHP and food safety certifications.
• Lead digitization initiatives and drive cost control at the unit level.

Job Description

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

• Capex Planning & Execution : Assist the packeting center unit head in Capex Planning & time bound execution. Co-ordinate with Central Engg. /Procurement and Finance Team for the same.
• Plant Budget : Assist the packeting center unit head on bill verification of co-packer and ensure strict Financial Control in tandem with Finance Team

Customer Service

• Ensure that quality standards are being maintained while ensuring production volume as per the Indent
• Ensure the Legal & Statutory compliances of the Plant.
• Sustaining Food Safety, EHS certifications, other certifications & maintaining GMP/ GHP standards

Internal Processes

• Packeting Centre Operations : Assist packeting center unit head in day-to-day operations & functioning of the plant, ensuring the production volume as per the production plan in coordination with S&OP.
• Ensure the compliance from stock count & stock control
• Conduct Plant level gap analysis, RCA for the same and escalation of closures for findings.

Innovation and Learning

• Foster Innovation in process optimization & involvement in improving Plant efficiency, plant maintenance & Cost Control & activities.
• Lead digitization initiatives at the unit level.
• Manpower optimization through Automation

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
