Job summary

INFINX, Hyderabad-based, seeks a Senior Strategic Sourcing & Category Manager to lead indirect and contract procurement. You will own end-to-end sourcing—from demand intake and market analysis to RFI/RFP, negotiations, contracting and vendor onboarding—delivering savings and governance.

• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing / indirect & contract procurement.
• Engineering or commerce background with CA preferred.
• Proven ability in IT, SaaS and cloud procurement and licensing negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end strategic sourcing for indirect and contract procurement categories, defining category strategies and vendor criteria.
• Design and execute RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, evaluate proposals, and conduct negotiations and price discovery.
• Manage IT, SaaS and cloud procurement including licensing, renewals, and enterprise agreements; perform TCO analysis.
• Drive cost benchmarking, spend analysis and savings initiatives across indirect spend.
• Draft and manage ARC/MSA/SOW/NDAs and long-term agreements; ensure governance and approvals.
• Establish supplier performance frameworks, scorecards and strategic partnerships; monitor compliance.
• Oversee office setup procurement including interior fit-out and infra build-up; coordinate with facilities and admin.
• Ensure SOP adherence, budget tracking and KPI-based governance; collaborate with Finance, IT, HR, Admin, Legal across regions.
• Prepare business cases, approval notes and negotiation summaries for leadership review.

Job description

Role Purpose:

To lead strategic sourcing and category management for indirect and contract-based procurement across Infinx, driving end-to-end sourcing cycles from demand intake, market analysis, RFI/RFP and negotiation, through to contracting, vendor onboarding and performance governance while delivering cost savings, compliance and value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

Own end-to-end strategic sourcing for indirect and contract-based procurement categories, defining category strategies, sourcing approaches and vendor selection criteria.

Design and execute RFI / RFP / RFQ processes, evaluate technical and commercial proposals, and run fact-based negotiations and e-auctions for price discovery.

Manage IT, SaaS and cloud-based software procurement including licensing models, subscriptions, renewals, enterprise agreements and total-cost-of-ownership analysis.

Drive cost benchmarking, spend analysis and savings initiatives across the indirect spend portfolio.

Contract & Vendor Management

Handle contract-based procurement end-to-end drafting, reviewing and finalising ARC / rate contracts, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs and long-term agreements in line with internal governance and approval matrices.

Establish and maintain supplier performance management frameworks, vendor scorecards and strategic supplier partnerships.

Ensure contract compliance, renewals tracking, obligations management and audit-ready documentation.

New Office Set-up & Infrastructure Procurement

Manage procurement for new office set-ups, including interior fit-out and exterior/civil contracting, BOQ evaluation, capex procurement and infrastructure build-up.

Coordinate with facilities, projects and admin teams on space set-up, furniture, IT infrastructure and turnkey vendor engagements.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

Ensure adherence to procurement SOPs, approval authorities, budget-vs-actual tracking and KPI-led governance.

Partner with Finance, IT, HR, Admin, Legal and business stakeholders across India, the US and the Philippines.

Prepare business cases, approval notes, negotiation summaries and management presentations for leadership review.

Requirements:

Minimum 10-18 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing / indirect & contract procurement, preferably from a BPO, ITES or Telecom environment.

Engineering Graduate (B.E./B.Tech) or B.Com; a CA qualification is strongly preferred.

Sound, hands-on knowledge of indirect and contract-based procurement, category management and supplier governance.

Proven experience in IT, SaaS and cloud-based software procurement and licensing negotiations.

Working knowledge of new office set-up procurement including interior and exterior/civil contracting.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong stakeholder management and negotiation capability.

Exposure to / knowledge of US and Philippines geographies will be an added advantage.

Proficiency in e-sourcing / P2P tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Oracle) and spend analytics is desirable.
