Job summary

Dyson GmbH is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale cloud platforms, lead governance, and drive automation across multi-cloud environments.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with leadership, and build scalable platform services while staying hands-on with coding in modern languages.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale platforms.
• Deep expertise in cloud and platform engineering across AWS, GCP, or multi-cloud environments.
• Strong software engineering skills with hands-on coding experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with Kubernetes, APIs, containers, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation, and platform operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

About the Team

The Platform Engineering and Infrastructure team builds and operates Dyson's core technology platforms across cloud, infrastructure, developer experience, data, AI, and automation services. The team provides secure, scalable, and reliable platforms that enable engineering teams to innovate faster while adopting consistent engineering standards and best practices.

About the Role

You will:
