Job summary

Selective Global Search seeks a Senior Manager / Associate Director for Tax Technology & Digital Transformation. The role drives enterprise tax and finance transformation, translating complex business needs into practical digital solutions across SAP/Oracle ERP platforms.

You will lead a team and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery, with a focus on automation, tax compliance and reporting accuracy in a PAN India context.

Qualifications

• MBAs in Finance, CA or BE/B.Tech are required.
• 10+ years in technology consulting or enterprise transformation.
• Minimum 5 years in tax technology or finance transformation.
• Experience with Big Four firms or comparable consultancies.
• Delivered 2-3 end-to-end SAP/ERP implementations.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax processes.
• Exposure to AP/AR in ERP environments.
• Proven client-facing delivery and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, presentation and PM skills.
• ERP Platforms: SAP, Oracle.

Responsibilities

Title: Senior Manager / Associate Director Tax Technology & Digital Transformation

Location: PAN India

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced technology consulting professional to drive enterprise-level tax and finance transformation initiatives.

The role involves managing technology-enabled transformation projects, improving tax-related business processes and implementing integrated solutions across enterprise platforms. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams and technology specialists to translate complex business requirements into practical digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end technology transformation engagements involving tax, finance and enterprise business processes.
• Evaluate existing finance and tax workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and automation.
• Lead implementation and integration of tax-related solutions with ERP platforms such as SAP and Oracle.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to understand operational challenges and define suitable solution approaches.
• Conduct client discussions and requirement-gathering workshops to identify business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Oversee implementation, testing, deployment and change management activities.
• Develop technology-led approaches to improve tax compliance, reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients and external technology partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, delivery quality and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 1012 professionals, monitoring performance, productivity and project deliverables.
• Contribute to solution development, consulting engagements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills, Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: MBA (Finance), CA, BE/B.Tech
• 10+ years of overall experience in technology consulting, enterprise transformation or related domains.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in tax technology, tax transformation or finance transformation.
• Experience working with Big Four consulting firms or comparable consulting organisations.
• Experience delivering 2-3 end-to-end SAP/ERP implementation projects for clients.
• Strong understanding of direct and indirect tax processes, tax systems implementation and statutory reporting.
• Practical exposure to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes within ERP environments.
• Experience in client-facing project delivery, business requirement analysis and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, project deliverables and performance metrics.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and project management skills.
