Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Senior Manager – Accounts Receivable to lead billing, collections and AR operations across multiple business lines. You will coordinate with Finance, Sales and Operations to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections and issue resolution, while driving process improvements.

Senior Manager – Accounts Receivable

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Accounts Receivable for a leading and fast-growing telecom/digital infrastructure organisation. The role will be responsible for managing billing, collections, customer/operator coordination, dispute resolution, and overall Accounts Receivable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track pre-invoicing issues such as open POs, pending approvals, hold sites and pending bills to ensure timely billing.
• Manage Accounts Receivable activities during month-end closure and support improvement of AR processes.
• Track invoice status after submission to customers/operators and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution of queries.
• Follow up with customer/operator finance and commercial teams for payment against approved invoices.
• Maintain invoice-wise and payment-wise collection trackers.
• Manage and resolve Debit Note (DN) / Credit Note (CN) related issues with cross-functional teams.
• Analyse billing deductions and identify the reasons for recurring billing errors.
• Work closely with the Billing, Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve disputes and improve billing accuracy.
• Maintain DN/CN trackers and relevant Accounts Receivable dashboards and MIS.
• Drive improvement in the overall invoice-to-collection cycle and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
• Mentor the billing team on identifying billing errors and implementing corrective actions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, and Dispute Management.
• Experience in handling customer/operator queries and payment follow-ups.
• Good understanding of DN/CN, invoice tracking, ageing and DSO.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify billing discrepancies and revenue leakage.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple business lines and meet month-end/quarter-end deadlines.
• Experience with SAP FICO, Oracle Financials or other ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
