You will be joining Deutsche Bank Management Consulting (DBMC), the Bank’s in-house management consulting global function that partners with senior executives across the bank to deliver impact. Your key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end projects across business and infrastructure functions, applying structured problem‑solving methodologies, clearly defining situation, complication, and decision points


• Together with our AI experts, lead structured problem solving across strategic and transformation topics including opportunity sizing, operating model design and process improvement


• Translate business problems into AI use cases, including problem definition, target outcomes, user needs, business process redesign implications, feasibility considerations and prototyping Agents in our end‑user development environment


• Formulate feasible tactical and strategic recommendations, ensuring alignment with Deutsche Bank’s strategic priorities, governance standards, and regulatory context.


• Drive hypothesis‑led, advanced analytics to generate robust insights and evidence‑based recommendations and translate findings into clear, decision‑oriented messages tailored to senior and Board‑level audiences.


• Act as a primary day‑to‑day client contact for assigned projects; independently lead client meetings, workshops, and working sessions.


• Prepare high‑quality, insight‑driven materials for senior management and Board‑level forums, translating complex analysis into clear, compelling recommendations.


• Act as a subject‑matter expert (SME) for the project module topic, demonstrating strong understanding of the topic and integrating this knowledge into project delivery and client discussions.


• Own and contribute to project knowledge resources to enable knowledge reuse, consistency, and capability building within DBMC.


• Supervise, coach, and quality‑assure the work of junior consultants and ensure timely delivery of their outputs


• Own and drive strategic internal initiatives alongside client projects, in close collaboration with consulting teams across London, Frankfurt and Mumbai


• Flexibility to work across global time zones (US/European hours), as required for the project needs and stakeholder interactions.


• Act in line with the bank’s values & aspirational culture, contributing to an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performance team environment.


• Ensure awareness of and adherence to relevant bank policies, practices, governance, and control requirements, proactively flagging delivery, risk, or stakeholder concerns.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for professionals with excellent academic performance (Master's degree mandatory). Professional qualifications are important, but your personality is equally important to us

Minimum 6 years (post MBA) across relevant Consulting, Financial Services, AI transformation or technology‑enabled business delivery (ideally in financial services) focusing on strategy, transformation & demonstrating problem‑solving, structured thinking, and delivery ownership. Conceptual and practical understanding of Generative AI, workflow automation or agentic workflows is beneficial. Software engineering experience is not required Excellent analytical, structuring, and synthesis skills, with strong attention to detail and quality. Clear, confident communicator in English, capable of explaining and interpreting complex information to support stakeholder alignment and decisionmaking; German language skills are an advantage. Demonstrated ability to influence and resolve conflicts constructively, balancing stakeholder perspectives to move topics forward. Commitment to continuous learning and development, Proven experience in coaching and developing junior professionals, with working knowledge of people and delivery management You enjoy working in cross‑functional cross‑regional teams You show initiative and commitment to topics you take on Relevant internships, certifications, and entrepreneurial activities are also a plus
