It requires cross‑shore collaboration and proficiency with CRM tools and the Huron Research Suite. The candidate should have 3–5 years in research operations, English communication skills, and the ability to maintain a 3–4 hour overlap

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of workflow execution or process improvement experience in a team-based environment within research operations.
• Experience in research administration or sponsored awards is a plus.
• Experience supporting client communication and delivery is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Managing workload across multiple clients and meeting target dates.
• Preparing and managing client communications with Client Leads.
• Providing leadership for the Analyst team and supporting their development.
• Establishing awards in grant administration and/or financial system, monitoring expenditures, ensuring compliance with guidelines and client policies.
• Identifying and forecasting spending trends that exceed current funding levels, clearing overdrafts and performing reconciliations.
• Supporting post-award regulatory compliance activities, including subaward monitoring and cost transfer review.
• Collaborating with internal team members during projects, including presenting key takeaways and organizing project logistics.
• Updating workplans to support overall project execution.

In this role as Managed Services Sr Analyst, you will be joining a vibrant cross‑shore team and be responsible for executing a portion of the overall Research Office portfolio. This role will expand on their existing research foundation and through use of innovative problem solving and analytical thinking, you will collaborate with team members to propose unique solutions for a wide range of clients across the research industry.

The Sr. Analyst will contribute to Research Office by executing sponsored financial management transactions, including prepares invoices, manages receivables, and prepares and submits financial reports. You will get experience with CRM tools, our proprietary Huron Research Suite technology, clinical research protocols, and workflow facilitation in other regulatory areas of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Managed Services Sr Analyst on our Global team, some of your responsibilities may include:

• Managing your workload across multiple clients and ensuring target dates are met
• Supporting Client Leads by preparing and managing client communications
• Providing leadership for our Analyst team and support their development and growth
• Establishing awards in the grant administration and/or financial system, managing award activity and monitoring expenditures, ensuring compliance with federal and sponsor guidelines and client policies
• Identifying and forecasting trends in spending that exceed current funding levels, clearing all overdrafts and performing general financial reconciliations.
• Supporting post-award regulatory compliance activities, including subaward monitoring, cost transfer review and managing effort commitments
• Engaging in continuous improvement efforts to help solidify foundations for growth
• Collaborating with internal team members during projects, including presenting key takeaways, communicating project updates, and organizing overall project logistics
• Updating workplans to support overall project execution

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3-5 years relevant workflow execution or process improvement experience in a team-based environment within research operations
• Experience within research administration or sponsored awards is a plus
• Experience supporting client communication and delivery a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Eagerness to engage in ongoing professional development and apply skills in the workplace to foster a continuous improvement environment
• Familiarity with research and regulatory compliance
• Experience with a variety of sponsored programs
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Effective critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills; attentive to detail
• Capable of maintaining a 3–4 hr overlap with US Eastern Time.
