Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking an experienced Job Developer to design, code, test and debug complex mainframe software. You will work closely with project managers and business analysts to translate requirements into reliable mainframe solutions using COBOL, JCL and DB2, with optional IMS and CICS.

Collaboration across teams, documentation maintenance, and ongoing support of existing applications will be key aspects of the role, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Experience collaborating with PMs and BAs to analyze requirements.
• Experience designing, coding, testing and debugging mainframe applications.
• Knowledge of procedures for mainframe systems and system documentation.
