Job summary

Persistent Systems seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design scalable data platforms on Azure and implement ML solutions with strong engineering practices.

You will work with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, MLflow, and CI/CD in an Agile setting, collaborating with data scientists and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data and ML workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or related domains.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Cloud Services.
• Strong expertise in PySpark for distributed data processing.
• Advanced programming skills in Python.
• Experience with MLflow for experiment tracking, model management, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with PyTest and automated testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Software Engineering Fundamentals, design patterns, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
