As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you will be part of a high-performing data engineering team focused on building scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based data platforms. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, analysts, and software engineers to design and implement modern data solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and healthcare data initiatives.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale data engineering solutions using Databricks, Spark, Kafka, and cloud technologies.
- Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing pipelines using Spark and Kafka.
- Develop and support scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration frameworks.
- Design and manage workflows using Apache Airflow and modern orchestration tools.
- Develop APIs and data services supporting enterprise analytics and business applications.
- Build and maintain cloud-native data platforms using Azure or AWS services.
- Support continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevOps automation initiatives.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational excellence practices.
- Collaborate on architecture decisions related to scalability, resilience, performance, and security.
- Support incident management and production issue resolution using tools such as ServiceNow.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, development, testing, and release activities.
- Ensure data quality, platform reliability, security, governance, and compliance requirements are met.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 6-10 years of experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Data Platform development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Extensive experience with Azure Databricks for enterprise-scale data engineering workloads.
- Strong expertise in Kafka for real-time streaming and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Spark and distributed data processing frameworks.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and modern data storage platforms.
- Strong understanding of data engineering best practices, reliability engineering, and fault-tolerant architecture.
- Experience implementing DevOps, CI/CD, configuration management, and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of Data-as-a-Service and Container-as-a-Service models.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and workflow orchestration solutions.
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Experience supporting Snowflake-based analytical platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.
