Job description

We are looking for a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team and help us develop cutting‑edge Machine Learning detection solutions for our email protection products. As part of the Efficacy engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative machine learning algorithms that can analyze vast amounts of data and detect threats in real‑time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vast amounts of data to identify threats and devise innovative algorithms to detect them in real‑time.
• Research and develop new email threat detections to support the ever‑changing cyber space.
• Build and train machine learning classifiers to detect attacks across our email protection products.
• Evaluate the performance of your algorithms and continuously optimize them.
• Collaborate with an elite team of machine learning and software engineers to scale your algorithms and bring them to production.
• Leverage the latest AI to accelerate delivery of detection solutions.
• Work with cutting‑edge technologies in a fast‑paced environment.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally, about risks that exist and remediation required for any security incident.
• Work collaboratively and independently on unique or special assignments which may require specialized knowledge and/or experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering. An advanced degree is a plus; or equivalent work experience.
• 4‑5 years of experience in creating and maintaining machine learning models.
• Proven track record in developing production‑grade machine learning algorithms that solve practical problems.
• 4+ years of experience in analyzing large structured and unstructured data using Python (or other relevant languages).
• Strong understanding of probability and supervised/unsupervised learning.
• Experience working with Databricks and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud architecture such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Experience with deep learning is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with MLOps tools (MLFlow) for model deployment and inference is a plus.
• Experience with Identity Access Graph/Knowledge graph and graph modelling is a huge plus.
• Experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
• Experience using AI features for model inference LLMs, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks is a plus.
