Job summary

Optimantix Global Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Linux Systems Engineer to lead bare-metal hardware operations, KVM clusters, and kernel performance optimization. You will deploy, manage, and harden servers and virtualization infra, troubleshoot 24/7 bottlenecks, and automate deployments with Ansible, Terraform, and Python.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with KVM virtualization, QEMU, libvirt, and Open vSwitch.
• Proficiency in bash scripting, Python, and configuration management (Ansible).
• Experience configuring hardware RAID controllers, enterprise NVMe storage, and IPMI/BMC interfaces.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, BGP, DNS, iptables/nftables, and WireGuard.

Troubleshoot complex hardware, kernel, network, and storage bottlenecks in 24/7 production.

Automate repetitive deployment pipelines using Ansible, Terraform, and Python.

Participate in high-priority incident escalation and root-cause analysis.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Hands-on experience with KVM virtualization, QEMU, libvirt, and Open vSwitch.

Proficiency in bash scripting, Python, and configuration management (Ansible).
