Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer in Bengaluru to drive Java full-stack development with microservices, AEM integration, and React.js expertise. You will own complex features, optimize performance, and lead incident resolution across the stack.

The role requires strong AEMaaCS, Dispatcher, and CDN knowledge, plus experience with Cloud Manager pipelines and observability tools. Bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver features using AEM and React.js per engineering standards.
  • Build reusable components and integration patterns across AEM, APIs, and systems.
  • Own L3 resolution of complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Diagnose performance, caching, replication, and integration failures across AEM stack.
  • Validate AEMaaCS releases and manage Cloud Manager pipelines.
  • Monitor health and reduce incidents and alert noise.
  • Identify stability, security, and performance improvements to reduce tech debt.
  • Conduct code reviews and guide L2 engineers on fixes.
  • Support multiple apps and releases within SLA commitments.

Senior Lead Engineer
Job requirements
  • Experience Range: With at least 6 years of experience in Java fullstack development, including significant expertise in microservices architecture and AEM/React.js integration.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and deliver complex features and enhancements using AEM and React.js, ensuring alignment with enterprise engineering standards.
    • Build reusable components and integration patterns across AEM, APIs, and enterprise systems to enable scalable solutions.
    • Own L3 resolution of complex production issues and escalations from L2, performing root cause analysis and driving permanent fixes through problem management.
    • Diagnose and resolve performance, caching, replication, and integration failures across AEM, Dispatcher, CDN, and APIs to maintain optimal application health.
    • Validate AEMaaCS release updates and manage Cloud Manager pipelines, addressing deployment issues proactively.
    • Proactively monitor application health and reduce recurring incidents and alert noise.
    • Identify and implement stability, security, and performance improvements, reducing technical debt.
    • Conduct code reviews and guide L2 engineers on troubleshooting and fixes.
    • Support multiple applications and release cycles within SLA commitments.
  • Required Skills:
    • Expertise in Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-grade applications
    • Strong proficiency with React.js, including architecture, hooks, state management, and component design
    • Hands-on experience with AEM and AEMaaCS
    • Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipeline management
    • Knowledge of Dispatcher and CDN for performance optimization
    • Monitoring and observability using tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Cloud Manager logs
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Headless or hybrid AEM and Content Fragment architecture
    • Experience with RCA and ITIL incident, problem, and change processes
    • ServiceNow or Jira for incident and problem management
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
    • Certification in Java (such as Oracle Certified Professional Java SE)
    • Certification in cloud or DevOps technologies (such as AWS Certified Developer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
