Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Noida is seeking a GPU DV Engineer to own DV for GPU core features and build robust SV/UVM based testbenches. You will work with cross-functional teams to verify complex hardware blocks and ensure a high-quality silicon for Snapdragon platforms.

The role requires 4–8 years in VLSI with strong HDL knowledge, debugging skills, and scripting ability in Python/Perl. Collaboration and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in CS/EE/Engineering with related hardware experience.
• 3+ years (Bachelor), 2+ years (Master), 1+ year (PhD) in hardware engineering.
• Strong HDL knowledge and testbench development experience.
• Proficient in Verilog/SystemVerilog and SV/UVM environments.
• Experience debugging RTL/TB issues with industry tools.
• Scripting skills in Python or Perl; strong analytical ability.

Job Overview

Qualcomm Graphics HW team in India is part of a worldwide team responsible for developing and delivering GPU solutions which are setting the benchmark in mobile computing industry. The role of GPU DV Engineer will involve a deep understanding of the HW architecture while getting an opportunity to work with the latest DV tools and technologies. Individual responsibility will include DV ownership of one or more features in the GPU core and developing a robust testbench optimized for the specific feature/DUT. Goal is to ensure a bug free silicon which eventually leads to a superb user experience of Snapdragon based computing devices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 4-8 years of VLSI industry experience
• Strong debugging and analytical skills and independent problem solving ability
• Strong knowledge of HDLs like Verilog, System Verilog
• Proficiency in developing SV/UVM based test benches
• Proficient in debugging RTL/TB issues using Verdi or similar tools
• Hands on experience with formal tools like Jasper or VC-Formal
• Proficient with scripting languages such as Perl and(or) Python

Preferred Qualifications *

• Knowledge of Graphics architecture
• Knowledge of OpenGL and(or) Vulkan API libraries
• Has demonstrated proactive exploration of multiple DV strategies or tools to achieve verification closure
