The ideal candidate will not only design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications but also guide a team of developers, drive technical decisions, and ensure successful project delivery.

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure is required for cloud architecture, deployment, and team-wide best practices.

This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring, code governance, and collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of complex backend systems and RESTful APIs using Laravel and PHP.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions using Eloquent ORM and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Oversee deployment, management, and scaling of applications on Microsoft Azure, including services like App Services, Azure Databases, Queues, Functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement secure, testable, and efficient code while enforcing team adherence to best practices (SOLID principles, MVC architecture).
• Conduct regular code reviews, drive refactoring efforts, and minimize technical debt across the team.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level developers, fostering skill growth and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, DevOps, and other teams to align on requirements and timelines.
• Lead technical discussions, sprint planning, and architectural decisions.
