Job summary

Delta IT Hub Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata, India, seeks an experienced PHP/Laravel backend developer to lead architecture and production deployments on client projects. You will design scalable APIs, review code, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with product managers and clients.

You will work closely with frontend teams, ensure secure and well-tested solutions, and contribute to shaping engineering practices across projects. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional PHP experience, including Laravel, with strong backend skills.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
• Experience designing secure, scalable REST APIs and integrating with frontend clients.
• Comfortable writing automated tests using PHPUnit or Pest and performing code reviews.

• Clear written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with React or Vue.js
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Payment gateway or travel API integration experience
