Job summary

Persistent is seeking a Senior Knowledge Graph and AI Integration Specialist in Pune to design and model knowledge graphs (RDF/OWL) and integrate AI technologies to advance data retrieval and reasoning across enterprise data assets.

You will work with Neo4j, Python data pipelines, and LLMs to build scalable graph-based solutions and evaluation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Knowledge graph design and ontology modeling (RDF/OWL/graphs).
• Python data pipelines for entity extraction and normalization.
• Hands-on Neo4j experience for graph architectures.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Knowledge Graph and AI Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in knowledge graph design, ontology modeling, and integrating AI technologies to enhance data retrieval and reasoning capabilities. This role is critical in advancing our AI-assisted knowledge management systems and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated outputs.

What You'll Do:

• Design and model knowledge graphs using RDF, OWL, and property graphs to support various data-driven applications.
• Utilize graph databases, particularly Neo4j, to implement and manage knowledge graph architectures.
• Develop robust data pipelines in Python for entity extraction, normalization, and relationship discovery.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) with knowledge graphs to facilitate advanced retrieval and reasoning use cases.
• Implement evaluation frameworks to measure the accuracy, grounding, completeness, hallucination detection, and consistency of AI-generated outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance semantic data modeling and graph-based retrieval systems.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on best practices in knowledge graph architecture and AI integration.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in knowledge graph design and ontology modeling using RDF, OWL, and property graphs.
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience building data pipelines for entity extraction, normalization, and relationship discovery.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases, specifically Neo4j.
• Demonstrated experience integrating LLMs with knowledge graphs for retrieval and reasoning applications.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks for assessing AI-generated outputs, including accuracy, grounding, consistency, and hallucination detection metrics.
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and practices.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangGraph, GraphRAG, LangChain, DeepEval, Ragas, or similar evaluation tools.
• Experience in semantic data modeling and AI-assisted knowledge management systems.
• Previous experience working on RAG architectures and graph-based retrieval systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing scalable knowledge graph architectures for enterprise applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and agile teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
