Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Maharashtra, India, is seeking a backend engineer to build and maintain backend microservices for logistics tech. You will work with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Redis, and SQL Server to deliver real-time tracking, secure APIs, and scalable architecture.

Collaborate with React and Flutter teams on API contracts, implement RBAC and JWT authentication, and deploy with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Node.js experience.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Implement LR creation workflows, booking flows, and transporter assignment
• Build real-time tracking services (GPS Redis/MQTT API)
• Build integrations with external APIs (GST, Toll/NSDL, RTO, E-Way Bill, WhatsApp APIs)
• Implement digital delivery confirmation (QR, OTP, Photo, Geo validation)
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures & schema designs in SQL Server
• Implement caching layers using Redis
• Develop billing (25/LR), tenancy logic, and role-based access control
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code using best practices
• Work closely with React & Flutter teams on API contracts
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in Node.js (3+ years)
• Strong in NestJS (or Express with architectural patterns)
• Strong SQL experience (SQL Server preferred)
• Good understanding of REST APIs & Microservices
• Experience with Redis for caching
• Experience with JWT authentication + RBAC
