Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of software systems. You will lead a testers team, develop automation frameworks, and drive testing strategies across REST and SOAP services with CI/CD integration.

You will implement API automation, apply AI-powered techniques, and mentor team members while upholding quality standards and best practices in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 9–14 years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge of authentication methods including Basic Authentication, Bearer Tokens, OAuth, and NTLM.
• Experience with design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, Decorator, Page Object Model (POM).
• Experience configuring static code analysis, DoR/DoD, and automation reporting dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing direction and support throughout testing activities.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
• Organize and prioritize testing tasks to achieve efficient coverage.
• Build, develop, and run automation scripts with advanced testing tools.
• Report and track defects and ensure proper validation and resolution.
• Integrate API automation for REST and SOAP services; connect suites to CI/CD pipelines.
