Litmus7 Systems Consulting Ltd in India is seeking a senior Java/Microservices expert to lead an offshore team and own hands-on development plus production support for e-commerce platforms. The role involves debugging complex issues, optimizing performance, and coordinating with monitoring and AI-assisted tooling. On-call weekends rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• 9+ years with Java/J2EE and microservice based web apps.
• Experience leading an offshore team (around 7 members).
• Hands-on Java and microservices development, debugging skills.
• Production support experience for e-commerce environments is a plus.
• Strong Spring/SpringBoot and ORM (JPA2, Hibernate) knowledge.
• Proficient in Java performance profiling and production issue debugging.
• Familiar with monitoring tools (Dynatrace/Splunk/Grafana).
• Experience with Developer tools (Fiddler, Wireshark) and Azure/Kasada/AKAMAI portals.
• Experience with Tomcat/JBoss servers and SQL databases (MySQL, Cosmos, Oracle).
• Knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools and multi-agent frameworks is a plus.
• Willingness for SRE role, on-call rotations and weekend shifts.

Job description

• 9+ years of experience supporting Java/J2EE and microservice based web applications.
• Should lead the offshore team of 7 members.
• Must have hands‑on software development experience in Java and microservices.
• Strong application and database debugging experience.
• Preferable to have production support experience with e-commerce websites.
• Experience in Spring, SpringBoot and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Java Performance profiling experience (including thread and heap dump analysis) to help debug issues that happen in production system
• Strong experience with various monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana etc.
• Good to have experience with Developer tools, Fiddler and traffic capture tools such as Wireshark.
• Good to have experience with Developer tools Azure portal, Kasada and AKAMAI portals.
• Experienced in Apache/Tomcat web servers and JBoss application server (v 6.x).
• Experience using Claude Code or equivalent AI‑assisted coding tools in IDE environments such as Visual Studio Code.
• Knowledge of AI Agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) for connecting AI agents to enterprise data and services.
• Good to have knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph for multi-agent pipeline orchestration.
• Detailed knowledge of databases like MySql and Cosmos and experience in SQL queries.
• Detailed knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and SQL queries.
• Excellent technical problem solving, communication skills, and stakeholder management.
• Willing to work in SRE role and be on an on‑call (PagerDuty) rotation to respond to high priority incidents.
• Willing to work weekends on‑call rotation.
• Knowledge of e-commerce, order management, and enterprise application integration will be beneficial.
