Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Java/J2EE developer to design and implement scalable microservices and APIs using Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST/SOAP integrations. You will contribute to front-end work with React.js and TypeScript, applying Material UI and modern UI frameworks to build data-heavy interfaces with AG Grid, Mapbox/Google Maps APIs, and geolocation features.

Strong knowledge of Git, Maven, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is expected, along with SDLC/Agile

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of Java/J2EE or Microservices development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on integration with external systems (REST/SOAP).
• Experience in React.js with TypeScript and UI frameworks.
• Experience building data-heavy UIs with AG Grid or similar.
• Strong JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3 skills.
• Experience with geolocation, maps APIs (Mapbox GL/Google Maps).
• Work with Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines; basic Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.

Job description

• 5-12 years experience in Java, J2EE or Microservices based development
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture
• Experience working with event driven architecture using Kafka
• Knowledge and ability to follow SDLC as well as Agile methodologies

• Hands-on integration experience with external systems (REST/SOAP)
• Experience in React.js with TypeScript
• Experience with Material UI and modern UI frameworks
• Experience building data-heavy UIs using AG Grid or similar
• Strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 skills
• Hands-on experience with Mapbox GL and/or Google Maps APIs
• Experience with geolocation, address search and autocomplete
• Ability to work with GeoJSON and map layers

• Strong Java 21, Spring Boot development skills
