Job summary

TekWissen India is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer (6+ IT years, 4+ years in development) to join our dynamic engineering team. You will design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and GCP, with a focus on secure RESTful services, microservices, and AI/ML API integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Deep understanding of Java, multi-threading, memory management, and OOP concepts.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Security.
• Strong hands-on Angular experience with NgRx/RxJS and modern web standards.
• GCP services, including CloudRun, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, IAM, Vertex AI.
• Experience integrating AI/LLMs and vector databases is a plus.
• SQL and relational databases; knowledge of NoSQL is a plus.
• Git, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes; SDLC, CI/CD knowledge.

Position Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Full Stack Developer (5-8 years of experience) to join our dynamic engineering team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure end-to-end applications.
• The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend services, strong proficiency in Angular for crafting modern user interfaces, and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Additionally, a strong interest or experience in integrating AI/Machine Learning APIs to build intelligent, next-generation features is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend & Frontend Development (Full Stack) Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java (8/11/17+) and Spring Boot.
• Architect and build robust, responsive, and state-of-the-art user interfaces using Angular (v18+), TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS/CSS3.
• Design and implement secure, versioned, and well-documented RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure seamless integration between backend microservices and frontend components.
• Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps (GCP) Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) utilizing services such as GKE, Cloud Run.
• Work with cloud databases and storage solutions (e.g., Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage).
• Participate in building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines (Cloud build, Tekton) to ensure seamless delivery.
• AI Integration & Innovation Integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing applications by consuming modern LLM APIs (such as Google Vertex AI, OpenAI) and building intelligent search or automation features.
• Collaborate with data science or AI teams to implement, test, and optimize AI-driven application workflows.
• Database, Architecture & Code Quality Design and optimize relational database schemas (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and utilize NoSQL databases when appropriate.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code adhering to SOLID principles and industry design patterns.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Jasmine/Karma (or Jest).
• Conduct peer code reviews and leverage tools like SonarQube, CyCode and FOSSA to maintain high standards of code quality and security.
• Collaboration & Agile Delivery Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives).
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, and QA Engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, assisting in technical problem-solving and knowledge sharing.

• Spring Framework: Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Security.
• Frontend Framework: Strong hands-on experience with Angular, state management (NgRx/RxJS), and modern web standards.
• GCP Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (CloudRun, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, IAM, Vertex AI).
• AI/ML Integration: Conceptual or practical experience utilizing machine learning APIs, LLMs, prompt engineering, or vector databases.
• Databases: Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Tools: Proficient with Git, Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (using Google Pub/Sub or Apache Kafka).
• Experience in optimizing frontend performance and loading states in Angular.
• Familiarity with Python (useful for AI/ML pipeline integrations).
