Senior Java Full Stack Engineer (AWS | React | Spring Boot)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Technical Lead (Java / Spring Boot) with deep expertise in Java-based web application development, React.js, and AWS cloud technologies. The selected candidate will lead technical direction and delivery for multiple Core Operations applications such as iDesk, GTFP, CRR, and FMS, ensuring seamless integration, performance stability, and technical excellence across the platform. This role combines hands‑on engineering, architecture ownership, and collaboration with onsite and offshore teams to drive scalable, secure solutions.

Scope of Work

• Understand the functionality and technical architecture of all Core Operations applications (iDesk, GTFP, CRR, FMS, etc.).
• Analyze integrations between CIT applications and identify impacted areas during updates or deployments.
• Assist in creating documentation — including setup guides, deployment processes, and configuration manuals.
• Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of production and performance issues.
• Maintain high application performance standards and coordinate fixes for vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with OIS, DevOps, and Web Admin teams to support continuous improvement.
• Follow SDLC best practices and deliver quality solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 8+ years in Java Web Application Development.
• Core Java, JSP, Spring, Hibernate — expert‑level hands‑on experience in building scalable web applications.
• AWS Cloud Components — hands‑on experience with Lambda, ECS, S3 and integrating web services; demonstrated experience working with AWS‑based deployments.
• Database and Middleware — proficient in Oracle Database development/optimization and experience with application servers such as JBoss or WebSphere.
• DevOps & CI/CD — practical experience with build pipelines, deployments and automation frameworks.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting — strong knowledge of AppDynamics, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch; proven RCA and performance tuning capabilities.
• Collaboration & Communication — demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple teams (onsite/offshore), lead technical discussions, and produce clear documentation.

Preferred

• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks such as React.js and strong JavaScript skills.
• Prior exposure to supporting Core Operations applications (iDesk, GTFP, CRR, FMS) in a complex enterprise environment.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or related cloud certifications.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) or familiarity with ECS at scale.
• Familiarity with specific CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar systems.
• Experience or exposure to security and vulnerability remediation practices for enterprise applications.
