EY is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications with a strong focus on AI-assisted development practices. The role emphasizes event-driven architectures, real-time data pipelines, and AWS-based agentic AI capabilities.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with product owners and stakeholders in Banking/FSO/Capital Markets, and ensure adherence to coding, security, performance, and DevOps best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Databricks and/or PySpark experience.
• Agentic AI with AWS or Azure.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka / event-driven architecture.
• Cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP; containerization (Docker); orchestration (Kubernetes).

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications, with a strong focus on AI-assisted development practices. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in full-stack technologies, modern architecture patterns, and hands-on experience with event-driven systems and cloud platforms, while also demonstrating strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade full stack applications.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor.ai, Replit, GitHub Copilot or equivalent) to enhance engineering productivity.
• Architect and build microservices-based solutions using Java and modern frameworks.
• Develop and integrate real-time data processing pipelines using Kafka.
• Implement event-driven systems using Kafka
• Build Agentic AI solutions using AWS
• Develop data pipelines on Databricks
• Deliver Market Risk technology solutions; exposure to Snowflake
• Design scalable and resilient systems leveraging AWS cloud platforms
• Work closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders in Banking/FSO/Capital Markets domain.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, performance, and DevOps pipelines.
• Mentor and manage a team of developers; foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Participate in client discussions, requirement gathering, and solution design.
• Drive Agile delivery practices across the team.

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• Strong experience in Java Full Stack Development
  • Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
  • Frontend: Modern JS frameworks (basic exposure acceptable if backend-heavy)

• Hands‑on exposure to AI‑powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor.ai / GitHub Copilot / Replit or equivalent)
