Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to drive advanced development, architecture alignment and cloud-native delivery. The role demands extensive Java/Spring expertise, data processing, and strong communication across stakeholders.
You will lead coding standards, contribute to REST/GraphQL APIs, and guide CI/CD practices in an agile environment while leveraging GenAI to accelerate delivery and documentation.
The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and establishing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Manage / Prepare regular and time-sensitive visualizations and reports covering Citi’s Regulatory and RWA.
Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
Recommended Qualifications: 12 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role with expertise on JAVA with UI experience. Proven expertise in building data processing applications. Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, etc.). Excellent knowledge of SQL and database management systems, with experience in optimizing queries and data models. Significant experience with JavaScript, Angular, Ext's, and data visualization tools like Tableau. Demonstrable experience in cloud-native development and orchestrating containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Serverless technologies. Proven background in designing and implementing Service-Oriented and Microservices architectures, including REST and GraphQL APIs. Exposure to and practical experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Harness, CircleCI, Cloudbees Jenkins). Experience working within agile and iterative software delivery environments. Proficient in Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies. Active knowledge and experience with static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube) and adherence to strong coding principles. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Applying Generative AI (GenAI) tools and techniques to accelerate development, optimize code, and improve documentation.
Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
