Job summary

Cloudxtreme Bengaluru seeks a senior backend engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable microservices‑based applications. The role focuses on high‑performance, low‑latency enterprise systems, API development (REST/gRPC), and event‑driven architectures using Kafka and MQ.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and tracing/monitoring tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, and Splunk to ensure code quality and reliable delivery across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, gRPC, Cassandra, CockroachDB, React, Python.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 611 years of strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Hands‑on experience with any of the following:
  Kafka, Flink, Kubernetes, gRPC, Cassandra, CockroachDB, React, Python
• Experience in distributed systems & event-driven architecture
• Strong knowledge of SQL / PostgreSQL
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud environments
• Experience in low latency systems & scalable architecture patterns is a plus
• Good understanding of Hexagonal Architecture / API design principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Immediate to 30 days notice period preferred
