Job summary

SWITS DIGITAL Private Limited in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 6–10 years of hands-on Java application experience. You will design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST APIs.

You will work closely with product managers and architects to translate requirements into robust microservices, with emphasis on performance, quality and CI/CD practices. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Core Java.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Develop scalable and maintainable applications following Spring Boot architecture and best practices.
• Design, develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Implement efficient database access and persistence using Hibernate/JPA.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions related to microservices, data modeling and system integration.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable and efficient code.
• Develop unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Identify and resolve application performance and technical issues.
• Integrate applications with various databases and external systems.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage microservices using Kubernetes.
