Job summary

Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of hands-on Java experience to build backend services and REST APIs. You’ll own end-to-end development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment in a DevOps environment.

Required are strong Java (JDK 17+), Spring/Spring Boot, microservices, REST, and experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. A BE/BTech in CS or related field is essential.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 17+) and modern Java development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, JDBC, SQL, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of OOAD, Design Patterns, and SDLC best practices.
• Experience in writing Unit and Integration Tests using JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of application security concepts including OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security is preferred.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI, MCP, RAG, and ADLC is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of features and deliver high-quality solutions independently.
