Job summary

Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Bengaluru to design and deliver Java-based services for web applications. You will work on Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud deployments, while ensuring quality and test coverage.

The role requires 6+ years in Java, strong Spring and AWS experience, and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices. You will join an agile team and own features end-to-end in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Computer Science, IT or related engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 17+) and modern Java development practices.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, JDBC, SQL, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of OOAD, Design Patterns, and SDLC best practices.
• Experience in writing Unit and Integration Tests using JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security is preferred.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of features and deliver high-quality solutions independently.

Responsibilities
