Job summary

Capco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our Securities Finance Technology team to design and build a next generation automated locates platform. This role focuses on Java-based enterprise applications, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies.

You will work on scalable, high-performance systems using Java, Spring, microservices, and container technologies, with AWS for cloud-native delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring frameworks, and container technologies.
• Proven track record in building distributed systems and enterprise-grade applications using microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design (MS SQL, MySQL… etс).
• Experience with Redis caching, and messaging systems such as Kafka, MQ, SQS, and SNS.
• Proficiency in leveraging GitHub Copilot or Claude for productivity gains and to improve code quality
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems and design efficient, scalable solutions.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with other developers, business analysts, QA, and operations teams.
• Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates precision and thoroughness in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Ownership & Accountability: Takes initiative and responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions.
• Self-Starter: Exhibits strong independence and resourcefulness, with the ability to quickly adapt and deliver results without requiring close supervision.
