Base pay range

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to lead the design and development of scalable backend services and APIs using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and deploy high-performance applications that impact real users.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable microservices and backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring JPA.
Build robust REST APIs and ensure efficient database interactions with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
Own end-to-end feature development including coding, unit testing, deployment, and support.
Participate in deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution for production environments.
Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality releases on time.
Optimize performance and ensure code quality through CI/CD pipelines.

Must-Have Skills

6+ years of hands-on backend development with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices.
Solid experience with REST APIs, Spring JPA, and SQL/Relational databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines.
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, ServiceNow – basic use).
Strong fundamentals in backend design patterns and scalability.

Good to Have

Exposure to frontend tech like Angular (v8-14), HTML, CSS, JS.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Passion for learning, experimenting with new technologies, and ownership mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
