Job summary

financial.com AG in Kochi is seeking an experienced Java backend developer to build, extend and maintain our Java products within a Scrum team. You will collaborate with Frontend, Product, Project Management, QA, Support and Sales to deliver reliable software solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of Java backend experience, strong knowledge of Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, REST and SQL, and hands-on experience with Scrum, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL and memory management.

Qualifications

• You have 7+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• You have profound knowledge of Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, REST, and SQL.
• You have experience with Scrum, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL, Multithreading, Memory Management, Performance Analysis, and Memory Dump Analysis.
• You have built web applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• You are a collaborative team player, passionate about learning new technologies, and committed to delivering quality results.

Responsibilities

• You develop, extend, and maintain our Java products within a Scrum team.
• You cooperate closely with Frontend Developers, Product Management, Project Management, QA, Support, and Sales.
• You coach, provide feedback, and share your knowledge with your team.
