Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Automation Test Engineer with AI to scale Java automation, API testing, and CI/CD. You will architect and maintain scalable Java-based test automation frameworks, design reusable libraries, and implement parallel execution across browsers and platforms.

The role emphasizes AI-driven test case creation and integration with Jenkins and GitHub Actions. You will lead API automation for REST and SOAP, validate payload integrity, and manage authentication

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong command of Java and OOP fundamentals.
• Expertise in building scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium.
• Experience in API test automation for REST and SOAP including payload validation.
• CI/CD/DevOps workflows with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable Java-based test automation frameworks.
• Design reusable libraries, utilities, and framework extensions for maintainability and reuse.
• Implement parallel execution to reduce cross-browser test run times.
• Create API automation for REST and SOAP; validate XML/JSON payloads.
• Establish authentication methods (Basic, Bearer, OAuth, NTLM) and manage sessions.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and branching strategies.
• Develop AI-driven features for automated test case creation, script generation, and QA workflows.
