Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Automation Test Engineer to design and implement scalable test automation frameworks in Java. You will build robust Selenium-based solutions, drive framework architecture decisions, and optimize parallel execution across browsers.

The role covers API automation for REST/SOAP, payload validation, and CI/CD integration. You will leverage OO design, design patterns, and industry best practices, while contributing to code reviews and quality gates.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of IT experience with a focus on test automation.
• Strong Java programming and OO principles (Classes/Objects, Inheritance, Polymorphism).
• Proficiency in Selenium and API automation (REST/SOAP).
• Knowledge of authentication methods: Basic, Bearer, OAuth, NTLM.
• Familiarity with design patterns including Singleton, Factory, Decorator, POM, Page Factory.
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of static code analysis and quality gates.
• Experience with embeddings for semantic search and similarity retrieval is a plus.
• Exposure to Transformer architecture and attention mechanisms is desirable.
