Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a Senior IT Solutions Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of complex applications. You will mentor junior developers, review designs and code, and ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned with business priorities within an Agile environment.

Required skills include C#, Python, Go, Angular, React, and Power Platform technologies, with strong Azure knowledge and DevOps practices. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Solutions Developer, Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert are highly recommended.
• Strong knowledge of low-code development technologies such as Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio, or pro-code programming such as C#, Python, Go and web development frameworks like Angular and React are essential.
• Knowledge of Azure, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage, is expected.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Azure DevOps, is required.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is necessary for effective communication.

• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, such as C#, Python, Go, Angular, React, Power Apps and Copilot Studio, or other relevant technology stack.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and experience in implementing best practices to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.
• Strong expertise in software architecture and design principles, with the ability to architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a collaborative and agile work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and IT operations, to ensure successful delivery of software projects.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to ensure software stability and reliability.
