Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. in Bengaluru seeks a Senior IT Solutions Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of complex applications that meet business needs and drive technical improvements.

You will design and develop solution components, review others' code, mentor juniors, align business goals with technical delivery, and drive scalable, secure, and maintainable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Solutions Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert are highly recommended.
• Strong knowledge of low-code development technologies such as Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio, or pro-code programming with C#, Python, Go and web frameworks like Angular and React.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex solution components and integrations that meet business requirements, scalability expectations, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical expertise and review designs and code produced by other developers to strengthen consistency, maintainability, security, and compliance.

• Fluency in spoken and written English is necessary for effective communication.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex software projects from design to deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, such as C#, Python, Go, Angular, React, Power Apps and Copilot Studio, or other relevant technology stack.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and experience in implementing best practices to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.
• Strong expertise in software architecture and design principles, with the ability to architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a collaborative and agile work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and IT operations, to ensure successful delivery of software projects.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to ensure software stability and reliability.
