Job summary

SBM Offshore in Bengaluru seeks a Senior IT Solutions Developer to lead design, development, and optimization of complex applications. You will architect integrations, review peer work, and mentor juniors to lift team capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years delivering scalable software, strong C#, Python, Angular/React, and extensive Azure experience including Dataverse, Functions, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field is required.
• A master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Solutions Developer, Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert are highly recommended.
• Strong Knowledge of low-code development technologies such as Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio, or pro-code programming such as C#, Python, Go and web development frameworks like Angular and React are essential.
• knowledge of Azure, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage, is expected.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Azure DevOps, is required.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is necessary for effective communication.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and experience in implementing best practices to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.
• Strong expertise in software architecture and design principles, with the ability to architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a collaborative and agile work environment.
• Experience in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and IT operations, to ensure successful delivery of software projects.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to ensure software stability and reliability.
