Job summary

Smith+Nephew in Pune is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer specializing in SailPoint IIQ to lead IAM initiatives and secure critical applications and data. You will design and implement IAM solutions, manage incidents, and work across IT and business teams in a hybrid environment.

The role requires 5+ years in IT security/IAM, SailPoint, Microsoft, and CyberArk experience, and strong communication skills to craft proposals, budgets, and roadmaps while maintaining governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven experience in IT information security/IAM.
• 5+ years: installation, integration, and deployment of SailPoint, Microsoft, and/or CyberArk
• Experience with SSO, Identity Federation and MFA is preferred

Responsibilities

• Engagement planning, directing, and designing and implementing IAM solutions.
• Lead day-to-day project activities for assessments, roadmaps, and IAM deployment.
• Communicate with all levels of the organization and be on call for IAM incidents as needed.

Job description

Role: Senior IT Security Engineer (SailPoint IIQ) Location: Pune (Hybrid) Life Unlimited. At Smith+we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. Identity & Access Management (IAM) work responsible for how users within Smith & Nephew are given an identity - and how it is protected, including saving critical applications, data and systems from unauthorized access while handling the identities and access rights of people both inside and outside the organization. The Identity and Access Management unit responsible for provisioning support which includes ticket management, customer service, and knowledge of least privilege methodology with security rights, permissions and groups, experience with Active Directory. Due to the importance of this position, it is encouraged that a person supporting IAM has basic solve skills with networking and computer systems, can multitask, work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.

What will you be doing?

Engagement planning, directing, and designing and implementing IAM solutions Advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards. Assist leadership in crafting proposals, budgets, and work plans. Lead day-to-day project activities for performing assessments, developing strategies and roadmaps, implementing IAM solution Communicate (verbally and in writing) with all levels of the organization On Call for IAM Incidents as needed.

What will you need to be successful?

Education

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT Security or related subject preferred.

Licenses/ Certifications

Current CIAM, CIMP, CIST, CIPA, CIGE or equivalent certification preferred. SailPoint certification is an advantage.

Experience

At least 5 years of proven experience in IT information security/IAM. 5+ years: installation, integration, and deployment of SailPoint, Microsoft, and/or CyberArk

• 5+ years: installation, integration, and deployment of SailPoint, Microsoft, and/or CyberArk
• 3+ years: Single Sign-On, Identity Federation, and Multi-Factor Authentication
• 3+ years: Identity Governance and Administration, User Provisioning, Access Certification, Identity Analytics, Role-Based Access Control
• 3+ years: Privileged Access Management
• 3+ years: managing projects through full development lifecycle

Experience with vulnerability management and risk assessment Knowledge of cyber security standard frameworks (ISO, NIST) Experience with cloud computing platforms and cloud security frameworks Ability to work independently without daily direction. Good communication & organizational skills, ability to multi-task, good attention to details, excellent problem solving, and follow-up skills required.
