Brief Job Overview

The Information Technology Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage IT projects, acting as a liaison between business and technical aspects. Responsibilities include administration of network and server infrastructure projects, planning and execution of technology projects, managing project management processes, implementing technology security, and managing service delivery frameworks.

The Sr. IT Project Manager has the following responsibilities:

40 % – Initiate, Plan, Execute and Control assigned Projects.

35 % – Service Delivery, Reporting, Project status updates, and Insights presentation.

15 % – Vendor Management & Contracts management.

10 % – New Projects discovery, business case preparation, and documentation.

  • Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.

  • Develops and maintains proposals including objectives, technologies, timelines, funding, and staffing.

  • Introduces project management principles and best practices.

  • Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders across business functions, IT teams, and external vendors.

  • Facilitates collaborative conversations, identifies key dependencies, and drives consensus.

  • Identifies, documents, and communicates risks, issues, and dependencies.

  • Demonstrates leadership skills in driving objectives with diverse stakeholders.

  • Sets and tracks project milestones and develops comprehensive schedules.

  • Establishes project communication plans and provides status updates.

  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information for project status reports.

  • Conducts project learning sessions, documents learnings and takeaways.

  • Helps develop and implement a metrics‑oriented service delivery framework.

  • Develops data‑oriented performance measures.

  • Analyses business requirements and develops workflows aligned to business objectives.

  • Works closely with business to understand needs, identify pain points and build relationships.

  • Works with stakeholders to identify technology solutions and present business benefits.

  • Collaborates with Internal IT teams on continuous improvement projects.

  • Works on new cross‑functional initiatives and designs service delivery frameworks.

  • Proactively engages vendors and ensures USP interests are prioritized.

Who USP is Looking For?
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • 10-15 years of IT experience.

  • 7-8 years of independently managing small & medium IT projects.

  • Background in Automations is an advantage.
