TE Connectivity India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to drive AI-enabled initiatives from inception to closure. This role blends traditional project management with AI product ownership, demanding strong stakeholder management and value delivery across the lifecycle.

You will mentor teams, align data readiness with milestones, manage risks, and ensure responsible AI practices. Requires 12+ years IT PM experience; PMP/Scrum Master preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI technology and tools required.
• Strong IT development platform knowledge and tech stacks.

SR. IT PROJECT MANAGER

Job Overview

This role combines classical project-management principles with AI product-ownership. It’s important to understand, drive and deliver projects from project initiation to closure. As an AI product & project owner you must manage and set stakeholder expectations, communicate effectively and plan/manage tasks, resources and timeline effectively to successfully deliver projects and ensure value-creation after delivery.

Roles & Responsibility

• Owns discovery of business, data, and process requirements, including downstream change impacts
• Translates business problems into AI solvable questions
• Ensures AI work creates real business value, not just technical output
• Owns AI solution success across its lifecycle, including post deployment monitoring and value realization
• Ensures responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, explainability) are considered and escalated where needed
• Aligns data readiness and ownership with AI delivery milestones
• Collaborates with CIOs and BU Senior-managements to own use case selection and prioritization
• Owns the tracking of success metrics (ROI, efficiency, risk reduction) – also after solution-delivery
• Decides build vs buy vs stop – including proper escalation mechanism
• Drive and participate in the testing and user-acceptance phases
• Plan project timeline and milestones
• Collaborate with AI and data architects to create work break down
• Identifies and mitigates delivery, data, and AI specific risks (e.g. bias, drift, adoption)
• Monitor and control project progress
• Ensure effective and proactive/structured communication
• Drive projects to closure as planned
• Support team with documentation
• Mentor and support junior team members

Education/Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree
• Any Knowledge of project management techniques & tools
• Knowledge of AI technology and tools
• Knowledge of basic IT development platform and technology stacks

Qualifications & Experience

• PMP or Scrum Master certification (good to have)
• IT Project Management Experience
• Agile Development experience
• 12+ years of overall experience
• 7+ years of Project Management Experience
