Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Warehouse Management Solutions group in Noida. You will help modernize and support strategic WMS applications used across our global operations, collaborating with architects, product teams and business stakeholders.

You will contribute to building scalable, cloud-ready platforms using React, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and Java, while advancing REST APIs, microservices and modern dev practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience delivering enterprise web/mobile apps.
• Proficient in React, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
• Cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise apps using React, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL.
• Deliver high-quality code with security-by-design in mind.
• Modernize legacy Vaadin/Jakarta EE to React/Spring Boot.
• Design APIs and microservices for web, mobile and integrations.

Senior Full Stack Developer – Warehouse Management Solutions

Develop & modernize enterprise-grade IT applications

A vital part of this is Contract Logistics, where we run warehousing, distribution and fulfilment across more than 1,600 warehouses and 16 million square metres.

You join Contract Logistics IT, where you will be part of a WMS Competence Center. Here, you will contribute directly to the development, support and modernization of strategic warehouse management applications used across our global operations.

Working closely with architects, product teams and business stakeholders, you will help evolve existing applications while building new capabilities using modern technologies and development practices. You will play an important role in transforming legacy applications into a modern, scalable, cloud-ready platform supporting DSV's future warehouse operations.

The role is global, and will be based in Noida in India.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using React, Spring Boot, Android and PostgreSQL.
• Deliver software solution with industry best practices and high code quality and in line with security by design principles.
• Contribute to the modernization of warehouse management applications from legacy Vaadin/Jakarta EE technologies toward a modern React and Spring Boot architecture.
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices supporting web, mobile and integration platforms.
• Build high-quality, secure and scalable software following modern engineering practices.
• Participate in cloud-native development and deployment using Azure, AWS and container technologies.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to automate software delivery.
• Troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing applications to improve performance, stability and user experience.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with DSV standards.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement activities within the development team.
• Participate in application support, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to ensure stable and reliable warehouse management operations.
• Support the technical transformation journey towards future Warehouse Management applications and platforms.

In addition, we imagine that you:

• have 5+ years of IT experience developing enterprise-grade web and/or mobile applications.
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics and warehousing is a plus.
• Strong hands-on development experience with modern full-stack technologies.
• Hands-on technology skills in React, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and Java.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Knowledge of technologies such as Vaadin and Jakarta EE is a plus.
• Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on DevOps technology skills on Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube and JFrog Artifactory.
• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift is an advantage.
• Knowledge of OWASP secure coding practice.
• You have experience working with distributed remote teams.
• You are a problem solver, passionate about technology and motivated by delivering high-quality software.
