Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics is seeking an IT Specialist Transport Solutions Systems (Precision) to translate operational and business requirements into reliable IT solutions that support critical logistics processes. You will work with internal stakeholders and external vendors in an international environment, taking ownership of your scope and contributing to stable, high quality IT delivery.

The role focuses on the QAD Precision platform, coordinating changes, testing and ensuring

Qualifications

• EQF level 5 work and thinking level (Associate Degree / Bachelor level or equivalent)
• Experience in IT application support, IT service delivery or vendor coordinated environments
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess solutions within defined frameworks
• Experience with testing, release support and structured documentation
• Clear and proactive communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Experience with transport, logistics or warehouse systems is considered an advantage

Responsibilities

• Owning and coordinating requests from intake through delivery and production release
• Acting as the primary operational contact towards the vendor for assigned topics
• Translating business requirements into clear and actionable vendor requests
• Validating delivered solutions against agreed functional and technical requirements
• Designing and executing test scenarios, analysing results, and providing clear go/no go input
• Assessing delivered changes against DSV standards and compliance requirements, and escalating deviations where required
• Supporting production releases and ensuring a controlled handover to operations
• Maintaining accurate documentation and a complete audit trail in line with DSV guidelines
• Actively contributing to improvements in processes, documentation and ways of working within the team

As IT Specialist Transport Solutions Systems (Precision), you translate operational and business requirements into reliable IT solutions that support critical logistics processes. You work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors in an international environment, taking ownership of your scope and contributing to stable, high quality IT delivery. As IT Specialist VAS - Transport Solutions Systems (Precision), you are responsible for the functional and operational delivery of changes within QAD Precision, DSV's label engine supporting critical outbound logistics processes. You take ownership of assigned requests and ensure that vendor deliveries are correct, tested, compliant and ready for production.

This role is positioned at EQF level 5 and requires independent judgement, analytical skills and operational ownership within clearly defined governance.

What you do

You are responsible for the end to end handling of assigned changes and service requests within your scope, including:

You work independently within agreed priorities and governance, while escalating risks or conflicts in a timely and structured manner.

Your working environment

You will be part of a specialised IT team responsible for a business-critical application used across the DSV network. QAD Precision plays a direct role in enabling outbound logistics flows, where accuracy, predictability and quality are essential. You work closely with operational stakeholders, BCM colleagues and external vendors in an international environment.

You bring
