This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer based in India.

You will design and develop advanced applications using Swift while contributing to impactful new features and products.
The role combines hands-on development with a strong focus on performance, usability, security, and maintainability.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product and design, to turn ideas into polished mobile experiences.
You will also help evolve the existing codebase through strong testing, continuous integration, and modern development practices.

Accountabilities:

• iOS Application Development: Design, build, and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift, delivering reliable, responsive, and high-quality experiences.
• Feature Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, test, and ship new features and impactful products.
• Codebase Improvement: Maintain and enhance the existing codebase, with a strong focus on clean architecture, maintainability, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices.
• Performance and Quality: Identify and resolve bugs, optimize application performance, and ensure strong responsiveness, stability, and overall product quality.
• Integration and Architecture: Integrate third‑party libraries and APIs while applying scalable architectural patterns and mobile development best practices.
• User Experience and Security: Partner with design teams to deliver strong UI/UX experiences while identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities to maintain a secure application environment.
• Technology Innovation: Stay current with mobile trends, architectures, frameworks, and emerging technologies, and evaluate opportunities to improve development efficiency through modern tools and practices.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Bring 4–8 years of overall software design and development experience, including at least 4 years focused on mobile application development.
• iOS and Swift Expertise: Demonstrate hands‑on experience building iOS applications with Swift, along with a strong understanding of iOS design principles, patterns, and development best practices.
• Architecture: Have solid knowledge of mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVP, with proven experience designing modular, scalable, and maintainable application architectures.
• AI‑Assisted Development: Have practical experience integrating AI‑assisted development tools and techniques into everyday workflows, including code generation, testing, debugging, performance analysis, or automation.
• Testing and Code Quality: Be committed to clean, readable, well‑structured code and have experience developing resilient tests using approaches such as unit and snapshot testing.
• iOS Ecosystem: Have experience with CocoaPods dependency management and strong knowledge of mobile development patterns such as dependency injection and observer patterns.
• Ownership and Collaboration: Take ownership of technical initiatives, think critically about frameworks, languages, and processes, and collaborate effectively with teammates on complex technical challenges.
• Product and User Focus: Care deeply about usability, user interaction, and visual quality, while maintaining a genuine passion for building meaningful and impactful products.
