Job summary

Livspace is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead residential interior design projects from concept to completion. You’ll translate client briefs into compelling spaces, manage timelines, and coordinate with vendors and project teams to deliver turnkey homes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential design, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray/Lumion), and a track record of high-quality, on-budget executions across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of residential interior design experience.
• Experience delivering 10+ turnkey or full-home residential projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray/Lumion, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end residential interior design projects from concept to handover.
• Meet clients to understand lifestyle, preferences and requirements.
• Develop space plans, mood boards, 3D concepts, and design presentations.
• Prepare detailed drawings, BoQs, material specs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and installation teams.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budgets with high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor junior designers and drive collaboration across teams.
• Stay updated with latest design trends and technologies.

About the Role

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with excellent client management skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality turnkey home interior projects. You will play a key role in creating exceptional customer experiences while driving design excellence and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end residential interior design projects from concept to final handover.


• Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and design requirements.


• Develop space plans, layouts, mood boards, 3D concepts, and design presentations.


• Prepare detailed technical drawings, working drawings, and execution documents.


• Create Bills of Quantities (BoQs), material specifications, and cost estimates.


• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, contractors, and installation teams to ensure timely execution.


• Ensure high-quality design deliverables while maintaining project timelines and budgets.


• Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship management.


• Support sales closures by presenting compelling design solutions and building customer trust.


• Mentor and guide junior designers while fostering collaboration across teams.


• Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential interior design.


• Experience delivering 10+ turnkey or full-home residential projects.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray/Lumion, MS PowerPoint, and MS Office.


• Strong knowledge of modular furniture, materials, civil works, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and site execution.


• Experience in BoQ preparation, project coordination, and vendor management.
