Overview
Zoetis is seeking to hire a skilled CRM Integration Specialist, Customer Engagement to support and continuously improve our Customer Engagement platform. The CRM Integration Specialist role will contribute experience to the design and delivery of features that involve integration. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, this role will be responsible for the design, build, enhancements, and maintenance of integrations between Salesforce and other systems. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity of key business data and will require hands-on integration experience and strong technical documentation experience. This role must be able to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions that meet business needs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
- Prototype, build, document, and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems. Participate in development ceremonies (story design, estimation, prioritization, testing, development, etc). Accurately estimate work effort and set a realistic schedule for integration development — 40%
- Maintain, upgrade, and improve platforms used for integration (Xplent, Mulesoft, Heroku, Postgres, etc). Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues. Perform or assist in the execution of functional testing — 30%
- Design and maintain integration documentation, including entity relationship diagrams, data maps, data dictionaries, sequence diagrams, integration patterns, design specifications.
- Maintain effective business relations and rapport, delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report problems and delays. Perform knowledge transfer activities to relevant teams after integration changes.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience, with 8+ years preferred
- Working knowledge of Postgres, SQL, ETL Tools & Processes, SFTP, Flat File Integrations, XML, and SOAP/REST APIs
- Experience with Mulesoft, Integrate.io/XPlenty, Heroku, and OData preferred
Technical Skills Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Experience developing API or Flat File integrations between large-scale commercial platforms like SAP, Salesforce, and Workday
- Demonstrable working knowledge of ETL concepts & processes
- Comfortable building Indexes, Query Joins, and Database Views
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, database design and software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge in all “layers” of the solution stack (e.g., front-end, services, data)
- Strong working experience on Agile methodology and DevOps framework
- Ability to design and write APIs as well as develop solutions using REST Principles
- Demonstrated experience in implementing multiple design patterns
- Demonstrated awareness of API Management Tools and Tool usage
- Experience building integrations with Salesforce.com leveraging Web Services development or experience with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/Metadata, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor
- Comfortable with modern software development lifecycle best practices including iterative and incremental development, delivering working software frequently with attention to technical excellence
- Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience with Heroku, XPlenty, and PostgreSQL
- Working knowledge of SAP and SFDC integration is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of MuleSoft preferred, but not required
- Strong customer focus with a high tolerance for ambiguity and requirement changes
- Strong problem-solving mindset to ensure creative thinking for potential solutions
- Demonstratable technical thought leadership
