Qualifications

The role involves integrating enterprise applications with external vendor platforms, including robotics, drones, Industrial IoT, and AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, cloud integration experience, and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.

Job Description

The engineer will design, develop, and deploy enterprise integration solutions using Azure-native services, APIs, microservices, and asynchronous messaging. The role involves connecting enterprise applications with third-party platforms such as Skydio, Boston Dynamics, robotics systems, drone platforms, and Industrial IoT solutions.

The position requires hands-on experience with API security, authentication, event processing, cloud-native development, and production monitoring. The engineer will also collaborate with external vendors, manage API changes, and support reliable integration services through CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and reusable integration components.
• Integrate third-party vendor platforms, including robotics, drones, Industrial IoT, and AI/ML services.
• Configure and manage Azure API Management, including API security, versioning, subscriptions, and monitoring.
• Implement event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Event Grid.
• Develop cloud-native microservices and containerized applications using Python, C#/.NET, or equivalent technologies.
• Manage vendor API documentation, authentication, SDKs, version changes, and production integration issues.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and support production troubleshooting.

Required Skills

Preferred / Good to Have

• Experience with Skydio APIs/SDKs and Boston Dynamics Spot/robot APIs.
• Experience in robotics, drones, Industrial IoT, computer vision, or edge computing.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or AKS.
• Experience building high-volume, real-time integrations.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Utilities, or other industrial environments.
• Experience integrating AI/ML platforms and enterprise asset-management systems.
